Many of our great soldiers
from Australia and New Zealand went to Anzac Cove to fight for our own freedom.
It was 1915 on the 25th
of April at 4:15am and the moon had gone down.
We tried to do a sneak attack
but the other side knew we were coming.
We lost that battle. 11,000 of our soldiers died.
We will never forget them.
