On a sunny day in the woods a wolf named Little Grey Walking Wolf was taking a basket full of muffins to his Granny’s house.

On the way there he saw Little Red Riding Hood. He tried to get past her but she wouldn’t let him.

So he thought of a way to get past her. First he tried to run and dodge her but that didn’t work. So he waited until she fell asleep.

When she fell asleep he snuck past her and went to his Granny’s house. When he arrived he saw his Granny in bed because she was sick. He passed her the basket and said “Your fur looks like plastic” and she said “Because it is plastic!”

Then she ripped off a mask and it was Little Red Riding Hood. “I thought you were asleep” said the Wolf. “While you weren’t looking I replaced myself with a dummy version of me” said Little Red Riding Hood.

Then the wolf asked her what she had done with his Granny. She said “I shut her in the cupboard”. So the Wolf got her out of the cupboard and rang the police. Little Red Riding Hood tried to escape but she ran out into a swarm of police.

“Put your hands up” said a policeman”. So she did. He took her to jail and the Wolf gave the muffins to his Granny.

 

They lived happily ever after.

Head lice are insects that live on human hair and can’t jump, swim or fly.

You can catch headlice very easily. The way to get them is by sharing hats and combs or by head contact. Anyone can catch them.

There are heaps of ways to get rid of them. You can use nit wash, a comb, olive oil or a robo comb. Nit wash poisons them, combs pull them out, olive oil stops them breathing and a robo comb zaps them.

The life cycle of a head louse is easy to remember. Egg, baby, teenager, adult and then they die after five weeks in your hair.

Headlice can only live in human hair. They are a type of insect that makes your hair itch. Did you know that they lived on ancient mummies? They also suck blood from your scalp.

Headlice are annoying insects.

Spiders

Spiders have venomous fangs that pops out of their jaw.

The spider lives in every continent except Antarctica.  Spiders usually live on cobwebs at the top corner of your house and some spiders live in the water.

Unlike insects only have two body parts called the abdomen and cephalothorax. At the tip of the abdomen they have a part that spins the web. That part is called the spinneret.

Spiders eat very strange stuff. They eat insects and spiderlings even eat their own mom! Tarantulas are so big that that they eat small animals.

Did you know that after a female spider mates it eats the male? When the spiderlings mum dies they eat the dead carcass.

Spiders are weird but amazing arachnids.

The Amazing Mum

On the weekend my mum came to my grandmas and my house.

First I came back from school and played play station. I played Little Big Planet 2 and Castle Crashers and found out that my mum had exciting news.

Next we went to the shop and got mushrooms and chocolate wafers. We got mushrooms because we were having them in our dinner. We had chicken for dinner. After dinner I watched a movie on the computer.

Finally I went to Lucas” and Cameron’s house and my mum went home. When I came home I played Castle Crashers and Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

It was fun.
