Daffodil Day

Daffodil day

People have cancer around the world.

Daffodil Day is about people who have cancer. Your parents or siblings may not have cancer but it would be great if you supported by donating a gold coin. Another way of supporting people who gets affected by cancer is you can also wear green and yellow clothes. Daffodil Day is on the 31st August.

The Cancer Society started Daffodil Day in 1990, they help out people who get affected by cancer. Many people get affected by cancer and the society supports them.

Your donation gets sent to the Cancer Society which the Cancer Society uses it for scientific research to find, out more stuff to help out. Here’s another fact … did you know that the Cancer Society people don’t just raise money for scientific research they also teach children and adults how to avoid getting cancer.

Daffodils are bright yellow and green flowers that make people smile not just that daffodils bring hope, and represent a new life.

Daffodils slowly sprout as spring comes.

Please donate to give hope.
