ANZAC Landing
Many
soldiers died on the 25th of April at z beach in Gallipoli which was
renamed Anzac cove.
On the 25th
of April 1915 at 4.15am in Gallipoli many soldiers from New Zealand and Australia
travelled on boats in an attempt to ambush the Ottoman Army. But as the moon
dipped into the dark sky somehow the Ottoman Army that our soldiers were coming.
We may have
lost 11,000 men in that battle but we won the war.
Anzac stands
for Australia New Zealand Army Corps.
On Anzac day
we remember those who died and remember they did it for our country and freedom
.We wear poppies because they battled in a place called Flanders field which
was full of poppies so wear your poppies and remember all those extremely
brave, proud men who faught for our freedom
